Words by Apiento

This is the first release from our friends at Nonvollective who kindly helped with the overhaul of Test Pressing from a visual level and as you can see its not only sounding good it's a beautiful looking record. Here's David from Noncollective with more information and you can go to Noncollective here to hear the tracks.

"Aegean Sea" (Non, Nº.1) is the first Noncollective release, a limited edition three track 12" featuring three edits by the Dutch collector and DJ Abel Nagengast. For those not familiar, Noncollective is a group of young templars and music alchemists with a taste for the obscure, whether European records, Japanese commercials, Belgian waffles, Algerian pop stars, Twin Peaks, Italian porn stars or teutonic beats. This group of friends, scattered mostly around Europe, are united through their passion for music, it is a superb example of what a handful of people can achieve armed merely with their love for everything out of the ordinary. For more than 3 years now Noncollective has been offering great music mixes from the likes of Chee Shimizu, Tako, Jamie Tiller, Steele Bonus, Hatchback, Moonboots, Vidal Benjamin, Albion, Chris Kontos, Abel and Julien Love among others.

(Non, Nº.1) Abel – Aegean Sea
The title cut is an edit that has been doing the rounds for a quite a while and many will recognise – a sun-clad rocking stormer with a sweet bassline and soaring psyched out vocal harmonies. This stadium sized anthem just oozes that 70's feeling. "Belly Button" is a laid-back groover of mysterious origins with sexy whispering vocals that makes it the perfect tune to begin an adventurous night, while "7th Of April" is a moody kraut disco dub number with distorted keys and talkbox driven guitar solo.
