Public Possession is an independent record store, party and label based in Munich, Germany and run by Marvin and Valentino. They've got the good fight in their hearts going by the home page of their store website (as seen below) where you can see "What We Push" includes labels like Golf Channel, L.I.E.S, Discos Capablanca, Sex Tags, Ruf Kutz and Rush Hour and the fact they had Tiago play at their last party. Fine taste.

So here we go with PP003. I got a record sent ages ago that keeps going back on the turntable and it was only recently that I put it together with Marvin and Valentino (& Bartello). It was this Tambien release which looking at it now on Discogs is starting to go for silly money. Can imagine the whole label will head that way...

The new release from Public Possession is by Bell Towers and is like a distant cosmic cousin to Begin's 'Elate'. More moody but it has that uptempo no drums thing going on. Great synths etc… You can hear it for yourself at the bottom of the post. The B Side gets the remix treatment from Protect-U who are part of that whole Future Times set up (read their five records that made them who they are here). So their mix goes heavy on the kick drum and brings a whole dreamy Chicago vibe to the party. Artwork comes from Misha of Perks and Mini (P.A.M). So this one is out now from what I can see and you can get it here at Phonica and here at Juno. Quality record.
