“Wazoo” is a jacking mix of electronics and percussion. Jacking, banging, tribal. One of those tracks that doesn’t really do a lot but its call to dance is instant and immediate, like Savage Progress at the Music Box, Nitzer Ebb and Fini Tribe at Amnesia, the Impossible Dreamers or Boytronic at Shoom. “Wicker Man Dance” shapes the same elements into a PPU Boogie. Leo Mas & Fabrice remix “Loveray 79” into a deep percussive House dub, that obviously nods towards Leo and Fabrice`s own past but also in the direction of something from Junior Boy`s Own (Roach Motel?) and 1993. Back when everyone was still on the happy medicine. Warm and hypnotic it saves the sax for the finale. On the digital release Luke Solomon takes the NYC ESGisms of “Dance, Dance, Dance” to Chicago, and punishes them with bass, delay, and sharp peaks of piano and Acid.
