Friend of the TP family Emma Warren has a new pamphlet available that she has written to follow up her brilliant 'Make Some Space' book which focussed on East London's Total Refreshment Centre and the resurgent London jazz scene. Emma has been running workshops for some time on the importance of documenting scenes first hand and has developed the new pamphlet to aid documenting your own cultural story. It explores ideas collected during talks and workshops Emma ran between Make Some Space and lockdown. These included workshops in a south London shed, in HMP Pentonville Prison and in festivals and conferences across the UK and Europe. The focus here is on the importance of "scenes" why they matter and what they deliver long-term for community and creatives. The pamphlet is available to pre-order now via THIS link.
