Seminal, often referenced, Post-Punk Funk straight out of Bristol, with ties to Maximum Joy and the Pop Group.

An album allegedly improvised and recorded in a day (the new sleeve notes reveal it was actually more like a week), inspired by Disco, Albert Ayler`s Fire Music, and Neu!, that defies genres, but does have something sonically in common with Family Fodder`s “ScHiZoPhReNiA pArTy !”, made available again by San Francisco`s Superior Viaduct.

I have to admit that the Glaxo Babies were a band I had heard mentioned, but never actually heard until now.

This is very likely to get played here, on Saturday, early doors.
