Having been asked by Ibiza-based writer / Journalist Chris English for a few thoughts on “A Short Film About Chilling”, the documentary filmed around Flying Records “Ibiza 90!” trip, in readiness for an upcoming 25th anniversary screening, this week I have unsurprisingly found myself stuck back there in that year.

I pulled Blvd. Mosse`s “U Can`t Escape The Hypeness” out of a Flying Records chart, which they used to produce every week (if anybody has kept any of these please get in touch). The associated abiding memory is Paul Oakenfold playing this (can you imagine), alongside The Nightwriters, towards the end of his set at a packed Soho Theatre Club (when wasn`t the place packed?). He smashed it.
