Electronic approximations of the music of water join in symbiosis with layers of plaintive twelve-string, in the manner of Mark McGuire`s “Living With Yourself” and David Pajo`s Papa M. Compositions slowly unfurling, a “Post-Rock” if that means guitars and machines. Digital percussion sambas, an ambient, improvised, Electro Jazz evolves. “Migration” is flight in formation, a mass, a collective turning sharply in aerial display. “In A Dark Run” makes like Being & Claude Young`s classic “Mune”. “Waterlight” rings with Reichian ripples and counterpoint. Fluffy clouds over Mondo`s “Laguna”. Steel pans and a melody of Sakamoto simplicity in a stripped down “Canton”.

“Imaginary Choreography” was recorded in Venice in 1984, before pretty much all of these references existed. Distributed to friends in an edition of eight (!?) BASF cassettes, the session was subsequently, in a moment of chance bordering on the impossible, discovered in a flea market, allowing it to be lovingly restored and shared by Parisians Antinote.
