Moonboots sent this over and said “Here you go amigo, Aficionado`s first House record”, but while I might rack my NYC (smile on me) & Chicago memories attempting to describe “First Love”, it`s more Chris & Cosey and New Order`s funky alternatives, “Evil Dust” and “Walking Through Heaven”, than “No Way Back”. Sensual rather than jacking. (That's my brother in the Back To The Stars video - Ed)

“Amici” and the titular “First Love” mix the synth Pop simplicity of Fatima Yahama`s “What`s A Girl To Do?” with Phillip Lauer`s cracking by turns Marshall Jefferson and Factory-inspired debut long player. The thoughtful “Long Way Home” updates G-Strings introspection. “Back To The Stars” is a post-sunset dusk / twilight journey into a Nu Groove dream, Mr Fingers` 303 composing sweet serenades.
