Sheryl Garratt (again!) takes a look at New Age clubbing in the February 1990 edition of The Face. Jimi Cauty from The KLF discusses The Orb and what was 'ambient house for the E generation'. I like the mention of the hippy New Age club Whirlygig at the end of the piece and its parachute dance. You'd get high, lay on the floor and out would come this massive old white parachute that people would wave over your head and you'd watch the lights through it.
