Something genuinely exiting is happening for Zonk.Disco’s 7th anniversary party at the Busey Building on Friday night. The legit legendary Wally Badarou is playing for the first time ever in London. He’s going to be playing tracks from his frankly ridiculous cannon of work and brand new compositions. Wally’s contribution to music can’t really be overstated especially to those of us with a balearic disposition. In addition to his own music he’s also worked with the likes of Fela Kuti, to Grace Jones, Sly & Robbie, Gwen Guthrie, Herbie Hancock, Talking Heads, Mick Jagger and Level 42.
