Shy Layers
Growing Bin

Patches and pads get lifted from classic `90s Ambient Techno. Slow, sleepy robots, vocoder-ed spacemen, join the lazy whistles of Zadar`s sea organ. A beat does Goldfrapp`s Electro Glam. The Country twang of The Byrds via Orange Juice, mixes with indie approximations of carnival Highlife in Django Django, Sinkane, "Best Bless” Calypso, on a gentle roll down Bongo River with Lemon Jelly and Bent. Modern Kosmische arpeggios and throb, modular synth oscillations, are purloined for Pop songs. Those spacemen scat melodies like Sparky`s Magic Piano taking a holiday drive across Europe, enthusiastically pointing out landmarks, sites of interest, waving, and loudly “Halloo”-ing family campsites, sunday barbecues, and sunny festival stages, playing a music not just for heads, collectors, obsessives, but anyone, normal folk, who appreciate a good tune. Music as sexy as Air`s "Moon Safari” that deserves to escape our small niche / clique / world, and reach the ears and Summer soundtracks of everyone.
