Think the Nu Groove of the Burrell Brothers, “Just Before The Dawn”, by way of Mood Hut. “Downtown” is characterised by a chunky bass riff, and has Karl Nordine going Go-Go. Karl`s Sasac remains a reference point for “Tempelhof Kite” which adds a bit of Benedek and a bit of Moon B, to end up like “Tarifa”-era Torn Hawk remaking one of those “ambient” Italian House tracks. Kito Jempere`s remix is rebuilt around a guitar riff, with an increase in tempo, and more of a “Washing Machine” wobble in the bass-line.
