As the stellar Discotecas series rolls on and evolves, we are experiencing some unexpected but wholly welcome scope creep. Number six very much takes its cues from the Rave continuum. These four rearrangements, from a close friend of Test Pressing, set their sights on the dance, and, yes, it's a direct hit!

'Perceptive' is a breakbeat-propelled warehouse rumbler. Nifty drum editing and a cavernous bassline have us locked even before that oh-so-familiar vocal refrain taps into our collective consciousness. Having been fortune enough to road test this bad boy in a big room, I can confirm it 100% delivers. 'Kazbah' summons the mystical spirits of the dance: chanting, epic drops, a rolling break, squelching acid, and what might even be bagpipes. It sounds like it shouldn't work, but it completely does. Very cool, very quirky, very now. 10/10.

'Bass Instinct' is a dark garage bomb melding UKG and techno. This one should find favour with the digger house fraternity. If you're interested in DJs like Christian AB, Truly Madly or Dr Banana, you need to check it out ASAP. Finally we close out with 'Ask A Dream', the tempo drops, the pianos kick in, whole body rushes, end-of-night euphoria, a looser, gentler buzz, sending you home satisfied and satiated.

All facets of the rave experience are catered for here. Discotecas has you covered.
